Understanding Teknorot part numbers

Please see below for a list of the letters and their meanings in our numbering system.

LetterWhereMeaning
TStart of numberIndicates the special products patented by Teknorot.
AEnd of numberA product may be supplied with or without “A”, indicating revisions made to the material. For example, on link stabilisers, “A” indicates that the material is the same as the original version. On link stabilisers without “A”, the material is aluminium or plastic.
SEnd of numberIndicates that a suspension arm may be without a ball joint. However, due to some particular designs, “S” is not necessarily present on all suspension arms without a ball joint.
ZEnd of numberIf the item has the letter “Z”, it means it is without a bushing and ball joint.
KEnd of numberIndicates that the product is supplied as a kit. The kit may contain a washer, bolt or bushes. Ball joints with “K” at the end of the part number may have three different contents. Please see the examples below. V-404 has only the accessories; V-404K has the accessories and the plate. V-745 does not have the accessories; however, V-745K has the accessories. Most ball joints do not have a version with “K”. For example, there is no “K” version of F-814; however, ball joints without a “K” version, like F-814, have the accessories.
KMEnd of numberRack end kit.
XTEnd of numberSpecial configuration with a slightly different ball joint shaft angle. XT versions are not suitable for all models. The straight version without the suffix (e.g. M-758 rather than M-758XT) covers a wider range of models. Confirm vehicle fitment before choosing a version; do not assume they are interchangeable.
